Meet the Walsh’s
Mr. and Mrs. Walsh have been teaching students at Catholic schools for over 40 years. During the birth of their 7th child, she was asked to give a teaching with the blessing of the Erie Diocese, and from there her and her husband have been teaching. This is their final year. I pitched this story to my news director in Erie, PA. This story was filmed and edited by me to broadcast on Erie News Now.
Day of a School Bus Driver
Bridget Williams didn’t chose being a bus driver as her first job, but after years of doing different jobs, she fell in love with it. Going on her fifth year as a bus driver, Williams finds joy in picking up the children to and from school. She greets every student with a smile, no matter their age. I pitched the idea of following a school bus driver for Bus Driver Appreciation day in Erie, PA. The story was filmed and edited by me to broadcast on Erie News Now.
Spring on the Farm
A micro-documentary that I worked on for Caroline McCone’s Rivertown project. I originally pitched this story to my professor when coming up with ideas for a micro-documentary. I sourced, filmed, and edited all of the footage alongside a team of people that helped me go out and film the project. I also worked alongside Jamie Maron, who was able to grab photographs at the farm to include into the story.
Spolec On Ice
From a player on the ice, to a captain and the president of the team, Nick Spolec shows his love and dedication towards the Mizzou Hockey club team. Spolec dreams to work with younger audiences in hopes to be a role model for the sport.
